Our volunteer narrators (readers) perform their duties at the Audio Studio's headquarters located in Anchorage, Kentucky, on the outskirts of Louisville.  The Studio is housed in quarters provided rent-free by the Anchorage Presbyterian Church.  The Studio has four sound-proof recording booths, each with access to a computerized talking dictionary for pronunciation guidance.  Narrators read in two hour shifts and record a great variety of printed material -  books, newspapers, magazines, manuals, reference materials, etc. in response to requests from individuals and Talking Book Libraries.
